Students will work in groups and pairs to research the problems and the accomplishments of the Progressive Era in Arkansas in a variety of areas: goverment, civil rights, health care, education, prison reform, working conditions, agriculture, transportation. Present your findings to the class using Prezi to summarize the overall outcome of this period.

Day 1- form groups of 3-4 students. Each group must appoint a leader and a reporter.Groups will research each of the following areas and compose a T chart listing problems on one side and accomplishments of the Progressive Era on the other. The reporter should email the T Chart to danielsroom32@gmail.com at the end of the class period.

Day 2- Students will write a 2 page eassy using their G- mail account comparing and contrasting the changes of Arkansas during the Progressive Era that were researced day 1 using 3 of the 8 areas listed above. The essay must have an Introduction, body and conclusion.

Day 3- Students will use the charts created on day 1 to develop a Prezi slide show displaying the problems/solutions of the
Progressive Era. Extra time may be given if the assignment takes longer than expected.

Rules:
*Each group member will receive the same grade as everyone else in the group on the Prezi presentation and the chart.

*Assignments must be turned on the same day unless other wise stated.

*Cutting and pasting information is not allowed.
*The group may vote to remove a member from the team for not participating in the project. If a member is removed form the
team they must then complete the project on their own,
